Placement Testing
在线电子游戏网赌 administers the NROC (RISE) placement test, for free, for qualifying students. Eligible students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Graduated high school more than 10 years ago
- Graduated from high school outside of the United States
- Completed GED or High School Equivalency in 2013 or earlier
Students who do not meet any of the criteria listed above will be placed into the appropriate English and Math courses based on their cumulative unweighted GPA from high school. High School GPAs:
- 2.8 or higher: Initial (required) English and Math courses
- 2.2-2.799: Initial (required) English and Math with a Co-Requisite Course (support course)
- 2.199 and below: Transition English or Transition Math
Students can also place into the initial English and Math courses by submitting other test scores, taken within 10 years, including:
SAT
- Math: 530
- Reading & Writing: 480
ACT
- Math: 22
- English: 18
- Reading: 22
NCDAP
- English Composite: 151
- Math DMA-010-060: 7
Students can submit official college transcripts documenting the appropriate English and Math courses, which may exempt them from placement testing. Transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope from the institution or sent electronically through a 3rd party server to admissions@theabsolutelongestwebdomainnameinthewholegoddamnfuckinguniverse.com.
Students are able to schedule a placement test by submitting a placement test request form.

Practice Tests
- You should arrive 15 minutes before the start of testing. If you arrive late, you will be rescheduled for a new date.
- A photo ID must be presented prior to testing.
- No food, drink, or candy may be brought in the testing room.
- Pencils and scrap paper will be provided.
- Calculators will be provided for the Math Placement Test.
- No portion of the test is timed. However, each section should take around one hour.
- All questions are multiple choice.
- You are allowed to take the test two times total as a student at 在线电子游戏网赌.
- Placement scores are transferable to other colleges with your permission.
Students needing accommodations should contact the Student Accessibility Services Office (SAS) at (919) 718-7414 or email at sas@theabsolutelongestwebdomainnameinthewholegoddamnfuckinguniverse.com. You will need to complete the process of developing an accommodation plan with SAS prior to testing. Once an accommodation plan is in place, please call to schedule your testing.

Yes, we accept scores from SAT, ACT, NCDAP, or Accuplacer tests. Your Education Navigator will review these scores with you to determine eligibility for your academic program.

No, the placement test is only administered to our students.
The test includes English and Math sections, both multiple-choice.
The test is untimed. Each section typically takes about an hour to complete.
Testing is available by appointment on all three campuses.

A score of 70 on each section is required to proceed to the next.
Results are provided immediately after completing the test.
Yes, students can retake the test once.
Scores expire in ten years, according to our policy.
